Raelism) In 1973, Claude Vorilhon followed a sudden urge to visit a nearby, dormant volcano where he first met one of the "Elohim" who had traveled to earth in a bell-shaped spacecraft from a distant plant to give Claude a message. This message caused Claude to start the International Raelian Movement. It was at this point Claude changed his name to Raël. Weird? Rebecca thought so too.
